Use

The practice tests are free to use, in driver education classes included, without an account
and without asking. The rules of the road are public; the drawings, the question bank and the
writing are this site’s.

Accuracy and its limits

The dataset behind the state pages was written twice independently and cross-checked, and
traffic law still changes: legislatures move permit ages, hour requirements and agency names.
Where the two authors could not verify a fact, no question asks it. None of this makes the site
an authority – the official driver manual and the law of your state govern, and passing a
practice test here guarantees nothing about any official examination.

No warranty

The site is tested and it is still software. A page with JavaScript off shows its writing and
no test; an old browser may render a sign imperfectly. Never treat a practice score as
permission to drive.
