Arizona Permit Practice Test
This Arizona permit practice test puts 20 multiple-choice questions in front of you: signs, road rules, markings, and Arizona-specific facts. Each answer comes back marked and explained right away.
What You Get in the Arizona Question Set
The test asks 20 questions in four groups: seven sign questions, six rules of the road, two pavement markings, and five Arizona-specific facts. Sign questions test whether you can read a shape or symbol and say what it requires. Rules questions cover yielding, passing, speed, and spacing between vehicles. Marking questions focus on what solid and broken lines permit. The five state questions come straight from the Arizona figures below.
Arizona Requirements Reflected Here
Licensing in Arizona is run by the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). A learner permit is available from age 15 years and 6 months. Drivers under 18 must log 30 hours of supervised practice. For adult drivers, the per-se blood alcohol limit is 0.08. Those are the only Arizona-specific claims this page makes.
How Each Question Works
Each of the 20 questions gives four answer options. Choose one and the result shows at once: right or wrong, plus a one-line explanation of the correct answer. When the last question is done, the page shows a complete review of all 20 items with your choices next to the correct ones, so you can see exactly which areas need another pass. Your best score is kept in your browser between visits. There is no time limit, and retakes are unlimited. Reading the one-line explanation on a missed question before moving on is the quickest way to get value out of the format.
This page offers independent practice only and has no affiliation with any DMV or state agency. Rules change; the official Arizona driver manual is the authority on what applies today.
