Florida Permit Practice Test
This Florida permit practice test runs 20 multiple-choice questions on signs, traffic rules, lane markings, and Florida-specific requirements. Every answer is checked and explained the moment it is chosen.
What the Florida Question Set Includes
Twenty questions, four groups: seven on road signs, six on rules of the road, two on lane markings, and five on Florida-specific facts. Sign questions ask for the meaning of posted shapes and symbols. Rules questions cover yielding, passing, speed, and following distance. Marking questions concern line colors and patterns and what each one allows. The state questions are built solely from the Florida facts below.
Florida Facts Used by This Test
- Licensing is handled by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV).
- The minimum age for a learner permit is 15.
- Drivers under 18 must log 50 hours of supervised practice.
- The adult per-se blood alcohol limit is 0.08.
Those four facts are the only Florida-specific claims this page makes.
Scoring, Review, and Saved Results
All 20 questions are multiple choice with four options. Answers are graded on the spot, each with a one-line explanation of the correct choice. At the end, the review lists every question, your answer, and the right one, so you can see exactly where points were lost. Your best score is stored in your browser and survives between visits. The test is untimed and can be repeated without limit. The best score in your browser only changes when a new attempt beats it, so an off day never erases a good result. A retake simply starts again from the first question.
This is independent practice material, not affiliated with any DMV or state agency. Rules change over time; the official Florida driver manual is the authority on current requirements.
