Nevada Permit Practice Test
This free Nevada permit practice test asks 19 multiple-choice questions on road signs, traffic rules, pavement markings, and Nevada-specific facts. Answer each one and see the correct choice right away.
What the Nevada test covers
The test holds 19 questions in four groups: 7 on road signs, 6 on general traffic rules, 4 on Nevada-specific facts, and 2 on pavement markings. Sign questions show a sign’s shape and color and ask what it means. Rule questions cover right-of-way, following distance, and passing. The state group draws only on the verified Nevada numbers below, and the marking questions deal with solid and broken lines.
The Nevada rules behind the questions
Driver licensing in Nevada is handled by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The state questions on this page are built from these facts and no others:
- Minimum age for a learner’s permit: 15 years and 6 months.
- Supervised practice required of drivers under 18: 50 hours.
- Adult per-se blood alcohol limit: 0.08.
If a topic is not in that list, this page makes no claim about it.
How the practice test works
Questions appear one at a time, each with four answer choices. Pick one and the page marks it right or wrong on the spot, with a one-line explanation of the correct answer. After the last question you get a full review of all 19: the question, your pick, and the right choice side by side. Your best score is saved in your browser, so a retake always has a number to beat. Everything runs on this page, with no account and no timer.
This is an independent practice tool with no connection to the Nevada DMV or any other state agency. Requirements change over time. For anything that matters, the current Nevada driver manual published by the state is the authority.
